I have been serving as the Assistant Director at the Stanford School of Medicine Career Center (SoMCC), since July, 2014. Previous to my time at Stanford, I have worked as both a career counselor and academic advisor for the last ten years in higher education. My focus has been on: first-generation college students, graduate students, international students, and those who are seeking internships.
I am excited to take this journey with you as you embark upon the next steps in your career development. I am passionate about helping others, specifically those that are embracing the career development process. Navigating career of choice options can be an exciting, yet confusing time and my role will be to support you by providing you with the tools, knowledge, resources, and connections to assist you as you consider internship options. This particular curriculum is aimed at increasing awareness of and marketability for various internship options and is meant to supplement your already strong scientific foundation with innovative and practical skill sets.
Outside of work, I like to play soccer, hike, eat anything with truffles in it, and watch documentary films on a diverse range of topics.
